- Although this is just a stereotype for blacks, they're forgetting that he is part white
- They have nothing else better to do
Well, the only way to find out the truth is just to wait and see.

What will happen next?
I am curious to know what will happen next. Many people think that Obama will be lenient and the stereotypical African American. The day that he was elected, I received many text messages. One of them said, "There's going to be a picnic in front of the White House. So bring your watermelon, liquor, and your own blunt." I thought it was funny just like the Carlos Mencia video. I didn't take it seriously because I think that Obama will make a change. However, there are some people who believe that the comments and video is a true description on how the government is going to be. There are many reasons why people think this way:

Thank you....he is part white and was raised by his mother and his family...hence, the term "mulatoo". And I believe this part of the reason why many white Americans have accepted him..because they see him, in a way as a part of them and choose to overlook his african heritage to a certain degree, however wait until he makes a mistake then we'll see what they say.
He's part white, went to Harvard, and so on.....white Americans can identify with him. Of course, there is a lot more to this, that I could go into but these are just a couple of points.
We all knew that with Obama being lected someone would loose thir minds. I received a text the day he wS ELECETED THAT SAID " I HOPE YOU WALK AROUND WITH LOT OF WATER BOTTLEA BECAUSE THERE WILL BE A LOT OF SALTY CRACKERS OUT THERE" I DIED LAUGHING.ITS AMAZING TO ME TO SEE HOW PEOPLE ARE TAKING RTHIS FOR A JOKE.
I always thought that if Obama was elected as our next President, many ignorant people especially African Americans would start to think differently. Not differently in a positive manner but I figured they would automatically think they could do what they wanted. Its a shame because I received those same text messages and I too took them as a joke and thought it was funny but there are people out there that really go by those thoughts in the text messages. It's sad.I believe Obama will make change.
